INTERNATIONAL HANDICRAFTS PROJECT

The Closing Gala of the Traditional Handicrafts Project, organized by the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Association, to be held in Türkiye, is approaching with great excitement. This special event will be an important step for the promotion and future of traditional handicrafts after the completion of the one-year process of the project. The event will feature unforgettable moments that strengthen intercultural interaction, emphasize the contribution of art to sustainability, and highlight environmentally friendly art practices. With the project closing ceremony and introduction, all stages of the project will be shared with the audience and important achievements will be announced. In addition, the project, which strengthens the place of traditional handicrafts globally, will be introduced with the participation of all stakeholders in this field.

Awards will be given to their owners in the traditional handicrafts competition. Participants will be rewarded for their creative works and will take an important step in the world of handicrafts. The photo exhibition, which includes all the works participating in the competition, will meet with the audience and will ensure that traditional handicrafts are blended with a modern perspective. The documentary, prepared with important images obtained during the project, will explain the cultural and environmental benefits of traditional handicrafts through training and workshop activities in this field. The event will also feature state officials, primarily from the Ministry of Culture and embassies, civil society organizations, artists and project partners. The event will be broadcast live with 4 cameras and all participants will be able to be informed about the event instantly. The event, which will be accompanied by a professional sound system, will also be visually enriched thanks to giant LED screens. In addition, the Şed Siege Ceremony Theater will be staged at the event and a theatrical presentation of a traditional ritual will be presented to participants.
